From Recurrent Psoriasis Flares to 8+ Months of Skin Stability Through Gut–Skin Axis Repair

Lalit came to GutIQ with a long-standing psoriasis history, recurrent flare-ups every couple of months, chronic bloating, and a gut that reacted strongly to multiple foods — especially dairy, legumes, coffee, chocolate, and heavier proteins.

This was not approached as a “diet plan” or a food restriction case. His pattern pointed to a deeper gut–skin axis imbalance: low gut resilience, altered microbial function, weak digestive tolerance, and immune reactivity showing up through both the skin and digestion.

Through a phased PURO protocol, we focused on calming gut inflammation, supporting the gut lining, improving microbial function, rebuilding digestive capacity, and gradually restoring tolerance without overwhelming his system.

Over the course of the programme, Lalit’s psoriasis stayed stable with no flare-ups for over 8 months — a major shift from his earlier pattern of flare-ups every 2 months. His bloating reduced, his food tolerance expanded, and he was able to identify which foods were true triggers versus which foods could be reintroduced with the right quantity and frequency.

This case reflects what GutIQ is designed to do: look beyond symptoms, connect the gut, immune system, skin, metabolism, and nervous system — and build a structured path toward long-term stability.
