From 75 mcg Thyroid Medication to Zero: A PCOS & Thyroid Recovery Case
When she first came in, she had been living with hypothyroidism for several years, having been diagnosed around 2016/17. A few years later, in early 2020, she was also diagnosed with PCOS.
For years, thyroid and PCOS medication had become a part of her life. At one point, she was on 75 mcg of thyroid medication.
She shared that two years ago, she would not have believed it if someone had told her she could eventually come off both thyroid and PCOS medication.
The approach focused on rebuilding her health through an Ayurvedic way of life and root-cause metabolic correction, rather than only managing labels like “thyroid” or “PCOS” separately.
Over time, her body responded deeply. She reports that she is now off both thyroid and PCOS medication, and her thyroid medication has moved from 75 mcg to zero.
But beyond the medication shift, the most meaningful outcome for her was how she felt internally. She described feeling very good from within and credited the process with changing her life.
Her case reflects how chronic endocrine patterns like hypothyroidism and PCOS often need a deeper metabolic, gut, lifestyle and Ayurvedic lens — not just symptom management.
